The Indiana Wind Symphony announces open auditions on Saturday December 5 for the following positions:

Principal Horn; Principal Percussion; Piccolo

Auditions for these positions will be behind a screen and current members of the IWS are encouraged to audition.

Auditions will also be held for section positions and spots on the substitute list - no required excerpts are listed for these.

For all positions, please prepare a 5 minute solo or solos that demonstrate your ability from a lyrical and technical standpoint.

Auditions will be held on Dec. 5 from 10-3 at Ben Davis High School in the band room - use door 10C on the west side of the building.

The Indiana Wind Symphony is a serious adult band that performs about 12 concerts per year. College students will be considered. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings.
