Spotlight on the Indiana Wind Symphony

“Back Home Again” at the Palladium for its 2011/2012 Season!

The Indiana Wind Symphony has been performing as a concert band since its creation in 1997.  Currently, the ensemble features approximately 70 musicians playing brass, woodwind and percussion instruments.  Our members are volunteer performers who are professional musicians, music educators, and serious avocational musicians who live and work across Indiana.

The Indiana Wind Symphony is starting its second season as a resident ensemble of the Palladium concert hall at the Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana.

Playing six concerts at the Palladium this season, as well as other performances throughout the community, the Indiana Wind Symphony is committed to bringing significant music that represents a growing flexibility and innovation for band and wind ensemble to the Central Indiana community.  Additionally, we aspire to serve as a point of inspiration for thousands of young people just developing their musical interests and talents.
