Announcing our First European Tour


The Indiana Wind Symphony is honored to bring approximately 30 of its world-class musicians to perform in several of the great "old world" venues in July 2018, including in:

  • Vienna (July 9)
  • Salzburg
  • Munich
  • Wadgassen (July 19 at IGEB)
  • Frankfurt (July 20)
  • Czechia
  • and more!

Works Include:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791): Serenade in C minor

Arthur Bird (1856-1923): Nonet for Winds and Serenade for Winds

Darius Milhaud (1892-1974): Scaramouche for Solo Alto Saxophone and Winds

And smaller works for brass quintet, clarinet ensemble, and more.

Instrumentation includes:


3 flutes, 2 oboes, 3 bassoons, 4 clarinets, one bass clarinet, 3 saxophones, 2 horns, 2 trumpets, one trombone, one tuba, and one percussionist.

The entire ensemble will play on the final piece in each concert.
