The Indiana Wind Symphony welcomes highly proficient, dedicated musicians to audition for permanent positions between performance seasons in the summer and our substitute musician roster anytime. We seek performers who are committed to artistic excellence and who share our passion for exceptional concert band performance.

To be considered, please complete the application form. Members of our artistic staff review applications and will contact qualified candidates with information about the audition process and available audition dates. Auditions are by invitation only.
Musicians who audition for a permanent position but are not selected may be considered for placement on the Indiana Wind Symphony substitute roster. No additional audition is required.
After submitting the application form, applicants will receive access to the audition materials. Members of our artistic staff will review each application and contact qualified candidates regarding the next steps in the audition process.

Substitute Musicians
We are always interested in hearing from talented musicians who would like to perform with the Indiana Wind Symphony as substitute players.
Substitute applications are accepted year-round. To be considered, please complete the application form and submit a private YouTube video showing you performing unaccompanied to info@indianawindsymphony.org. Our artistic staff reviews submissions on a rolling basis and will contact qualified applicants regarding next steps.

Founded in 1997, the Indiana Wind Symphony is Central Indiana’s premier symphonic wind ensemble, dedicated to performing compelling repertoire that spans classical masterpieces, contemporary works, and culturally inspired programs.
